築山國際文創 International Jhushan Culture & Creative

築山文創團隊成員，皆來至於竹山。以身為竹山人築一座山的精神來形塑築山品牌，也就是對每一件作品的創作與產生，皆以具美學又極致工藝時尚的意志來呈現。本團隊近日最具代表作即為2010台北花博夢想館大廳機械花之設計。

M Chair是團隊2011年的新作，是以竹山人對竹材屬性的瞭解與敏銳，及其對地方文化的認同與傳承，嘗試將四根桂竹竹管展開並一體成型的編織技法，融合設計與工藝的元素，進而以三腳(角)定位、支撐載體方式詮釋「竹山」。正視的”M”即代表了mountain（山）的意思，將「竹材的使用」與「M造型的設計」，帶出竹與山密不可分且具和諧性的關係；山孕育了竹子，竹林形塑了山的樣貌。在這樣的概念下，以簡單、又不誇張的手法呈現椅子造型，希望回歸本質，設計一把好坐、自然有機性，卻又不失山的穩重、大氣的椅子。

All of Jhushan culture & creative’s team members are from Jhushan Township (the literal translation is, “Bamboo Mountain”). The Jhushan logo symbolizes the spirit and ability that Jhun Shan people (resident)” have when building a mountain, which means each of their creation and production are presented base on the spirit of fashion aesthetics and fine craft. Our most recent attention work was presented in the 2010 Taipei Flora exhibitions’ Pavilion of Dream’s mechanic flower design.

Our most significant work in 2011 is the “M Chair”. The inspirations came from the local “Jhushan people” who knows bamboo characters very well, at the same their identified and have been passing down their cultural heritage to the new generation.
We attempts to layout four pieces of makino bamboo and knit them together, combine the fashion and craft elements. Then we tied the back two legs of the chair together, to interpret as “Bamboo Mountain”. If standing in front of the “M Chair”, you will see the legs looks like “M”, which means Mountain. This is to show the connection of the mountain and the bamboo. Under this concept, we use simple and not over exaggerated way to present the chair.
